My word for 2026 was GROWTH. As an Enneagram 3, I’m used to outward-facing growth through creating, performing, speaking, and facilitating in public. This year, however, my growth came more through periods of stillness, rest, and listening. Rooting down underneath the soil, growing in the dark. Allowing everything from my past to decompose, build heat, and create fertile soil for new seeds to grow. It’s only when we are healed that we feel safe to show our vulnerable parts to those who earn our trust. This month those seeds began to bloom and blossom.
Ironically, growth was also happening inside of my body- a wild card that I wasn’t expecting at all.
For now, I’m reminded to control the variables that I can- how I eat, move, love, and view my situation in the best possible light. Growth means trusting. Trusting that everything will unfold exactly as it is destined to.
